He described Chan as "the biggest action hero in the world" like a cross between [[Bruce Lee]], [[Bruce Willis]], [[Charlie Chaplin]], and [[Harrison Ford]], and said Chan "has brought the [[Kung fu film|Kung-Fu action picture]]" genre "roaring back to life" in American pop culture. He praised the action choreography as "a masterfully seamless wave, proving that acting and fighting can coexist, if they're in the hands of a virtuoso."
