===Highways=== The business route of [[U.S. Route 31]] runs north–south through Peru on North Broadway and West Main Street. The business route of [[U.S. Route 24]] runs east–west through the town on East and West Main Street. Current U.S. 24 follows a four-lane bypass {{convert|1.5|mi|1}} north of downtown, while current U.S. 31 is a four-lane highway {{convert|3|mi|0}} west of downtown.
