==Operations== {{See also|Governor of the People's Bank of China}} The PBC is a [[Cabinet (government)|cabinet]]-level [[Constituent departments of the State Council|executive department]] of the [[State Council of the People's Republic of China|State Council]].<ref name=":1" />{{Rp|page=203}} The top management of the PBC are composed of the governor and a certain number of deputy governors.
