Indian and Pakistani Pashtuns have utilized the British/[[Commonwealth of Nations|Commonwealth]] links of their respective countries, and modern communities have been established starting around the 1960s mainly in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia but also in other [[commonwealth countries]] (and the United States). Some Pashtuns have also settled in the Middle East, such as in the [[Arabian Peninsula]].
