==Economy== The central business district of the borough is located on West Pleasant Avenue from the intersection of Maywood Avenue to Lincoln Avenue, and is where most of the local restaurants and shops reside. The business district of Maywood was renovated through a "Streetscapes" grant used to fix up the sidewalks, streets and lighting.<ref>Clark, Susan Joy.
