The Ballpark District takes its name from the [[Lake Elsinore Diamond]] Stadium, a first-class minor league baseball stadium constructed in 1994. It is home to the [[Lake Elsinore Storm]] professional baseball team, an affiliate of the [[San Diego Padres]].
