Bonnie was the daughter of George Skiles and Huldah Dry. The two married at [[Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (Sandusky, Ohio)|Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church]] in [[Sandusky, Ohio]], on July 14, 1914, with Father William F.
