Van 't Hoff became an Honorary Member of the [[British Chemical Society]] in London, the [[Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences]] (1892), [[American Chemical Society]] (1898), the [[Académie des Sciences]] in Paris (1905), and the [[Royal Netherlands Chemical Society|Netherlands Chemical Society]] (1908).
