[[Brazilians|Brazilian]] [[Emerson Fittipaldi]], [[Italian people|Italian]] [[Teo Fabi]], and [[Colombian people|Colombian]] [[Roberto Guerrero]] were able to obtain good outings in the 1980s, as was [[Dutch people|Dutchman]] [[Arie Luyendyk]]. In 1993, [[1992 Formula One World Championship|reigning]] [[Formula One]] World Champion [[Nigel Mansell]] shocked the racing world by leaving Formula One for [[Championship Auto Racing Teams|CART]].
