===Sesame===
[[Sesame]] halva is popular in the Balkans, [[Poland]], the Middle East, and other areas surrounding the Mediterranean Sea. It is also enjoyed in some regions of Pakistan, where it is locally referred to as ''Tahini Halvā'' ({{Langx|ur|تہینی حلوہ}}). 

The primary ingredients in this confection are sesame butter or paste ([[tahini]]), and sugar, glucose or honey.<ref name="Davidson" /> [[Common Soapwort|Soapwort]]<ref>{{cite book
