The [[population density]] was {{convert|830.3|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 554 housing units at an average density of {{convert|465.5|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 76.5% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.1% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 14.2% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.8% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 3.5% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 3.8% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 8.9% of the population.

There were 474 households, of which 21.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 36.9% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 10.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 48.1% were non-families. 40.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.06 and the average family size was 2.74.

The median age in the city was 47.1 years. 19.3% of residents were under the age of 18; 6.9% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 21.5% were from 25 to 44; 32.2% were from 45 to 64; and 20.4% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 48.2% male and 51.8% female.

The population density was 816.9 people per square mile (314.8/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 530 housing units at an average density of 482.7 per square mile (186.0/km<sup>2</sup>). The racial makeup of the city was 81.27% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.11% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 12.49% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 1.34% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 2.79% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.00% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 4.91% of the population.

There were 410 households, out of which 25.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.1% were married couples living together, 12.2% had a female with no husband present, and 39.8% were non-families. 35.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.13 and the average family size was 2.71.

In the city, the age distribution of the population shows 22.5% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 20.4% from 25 to 44, 26.9% from 45 to 64, and 23.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 45 years. For every 100 females, there were 92.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 80.5 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $21,818, and the median income for a family was $29,375. Males had a median income of $25,625 versus $18,125 for females.
