* The [[Gainesville station (Georgia)|Gainesville Amtrak station]] is situated at 116 Industrial Boulevard. [[Amtrak]]'s ''[[Crescent (train)|Crescent]]'' train connects Gainesville with the cities of [[New York City|New York]], [[Philadelphia]], [[Baltimore]], [[Washington, D.C.|Washington]], [[Greensboro, North Carolina|Greensboro]], [[Charlotte, North Carolina|Charlotte]], [[Atlanta]], [[Birmingham, Alabama|Birmingham]] and [[New Orleans]]. The southbound train arrives on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday mornings, and the northbound train on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings.

Aircraft include 116 single engine aircraft, 21 multi-engine aircraft, 2 jet engine aircraft and 1 helicopter. In addition, Gainesville has three heliports, Beaver Trail, Lanier Park Hospital and Latham Creek.
