As of the [[2020 United States census]], there were 75,956 people, 26,233 households, and 21,954 families residing in the town.<ref name=":0" />

In 2010, the racial and ethnic makeup of the town was 83.9% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 3.2% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.1% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 8.6% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.1% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], and 2.2% from two or more races. Although Flower Mound has the second-highest percentage of residents making over $100,000 in the nation,{{sfn|Raghavan|2013}} Journalist Peter T.
