India's [[Roll-on/roll-off|ro-ro]] ferry service between [[Ghogha]] and [[Dahej]] was inaugurated by Prime Minister [[Narendra Modi]] on 22 October 2017. It aims to connect [[South Gujarat]] and [[Saurashtra (region)|Saurashtra]] currently separated by {{convert|360|km|mi}} of roadway to {{convert|31|km|mi}} of ferry service.
