Felipe's bachelor years were a source of interest to the Spanish press for several years. Felipe and Letizia have two daughters: [[Leonor, Princess of Asturias]] (born 31 October 2005) and [[Infanta Sofía]] (born 29 April 2007). Both were born at Ruber International Hospital in [[Madrid]].<ref name=casarealsignificantdates/>
