Channelview ISD operates schools within the CDP. The district has one prekindergarten campus, six elementary schools (Harvey Brown, Crenshaw, DeZavala, Hamblen, McMullan, and McGhee), two junior high schools (Alice Johnson Junior High School, and Anthony Aguirre Junior High School,), L.W.
