===Increased activism amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine=== In 2022, Russia launched a [[Russian invasion of Ukraine|full invasion of Ukraine]]. A fourth separatist unit, called "Khamzat Gelayev Joint Task Detachment" was also founded.
