===Politics=== As of March 23, 2011, there was a total of 120,229 registered voters in Jersey City, of whom 58,194 (48.4%) were registered as [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democrats]], 7,655 (6.4%) were registered as [[Republican Party (United States)|Republicans]], and 54,293 (45.2%) were registered as [[Unaffiliated (New Jersey)|Unaffiliated]].
