The [[American College of Rheumatology]] states that no herbal medicines have health claims supported by high-quality evidence and thus they do not recommend their use.<ref name=ACRCAM/> There is no scientific basis to suggest that herbal supplements advertised as "natural" are safer for use than conventional medications as both are chemicals.
