The [[Maharashtra cricket team]] and [[Maharashtra women's cricket team|state's women's team]] owned by [[Maharashtra Cricket Association]] represents the state in domestic cricket competitions such as the [[Ranji Trophy|Ranji]], [[Vijay Hazare Trophy]] and women's domestic cricket respectively, is based in Pune (headquarter at [[Gahunje]] village).
