[[Jimmy Carter]], from [[Plains, Georgia]], was President of the United States from 1977 to 1981. [[Martin Luther King Jr.]] was born in [[Atlanta]] in 1929. He was a [[civil rights movement]] leader who protested for equal rights and against racial discrimination.
