Experts have debated on the possible use of money and currencies in societies that will be established in space. The Quasi Universal Intergalactic Denomination, or QUID, is a physical currency made from a space-qualified polymer [[Polytetrafluoroethylene|PTFE]] for inter-planetary travelers.
