Muntinlupa has 18 health centers, 1 public hospital, and 8 private hospitals.<ref name="muntinlupacity.gov.ph"/> The sole public hospital of the city is the Ospital ng Muntinlupa, while the [[Asian Hospital and Medical Center]] and the Medical Center Muntinlupa are among the city's private hospital. The [[Food and Drug Administration (Philippines)|Food and Drug Administration]], tasked to ensure the health and safety of food and drugs, has its headquarters located at [[Filinvest City]], Alabang. The [[Research Institute for Tropical Medicine]], a research facility dedicated to infectious and tropical diseases in the Philippines, is also based in Muntinlupa.
