In February 2022, the [[Russian Armed Forces]] under President [[Vladimir Putin]] launched [[Russian invasion of Ukraine|an invasion of Ukraine]]. Throughout the conflict, Biden consistently refused Ukrainian requests to allow them to utilize weapons against Russian military targets inside [[Russia]].
