The [[Belgian United Nations Command]] (or BUNC) arrived in Korea in early 1951, and fought at several key engagements of the conflict, including at the [[Battle of the Imjin River]], [[Battle of Haktang-ni|Haktang-ni]] and [[Battle of Chatkol|Chatkol]]. Over 300 Belgians were killed in action.
