Between 1932 and 2008, for 19 of 20 [[United States presidential election]]s, a win for the Redskins in their last home game prior to [[Election Day (United States)|Election Day]] coincided with the incumbent party winning re-election. The exception was in 2004, when [[Republican Party (United States)|Republican]] incumbent [[George W.
