[[Ventura County Library]] has 12 community library locations throughout the county, including three branches in the city of Ventura. Many of the other branches serve smaller towns or unincorporated communities. The county library also includes the Research Library of the Museum of Ventura County. In addition, six cities within the county operate their own city libraries that are independent of the county system: [[City of Camarillo Public Library|Camarillo]], Moorpark, [[Oxnard Public Library|Oxnard]], Santa Paula, Simi Valley, and [[Grant R.
