===Public schools===
[[New Bedford Public Schools]] is the community school district. [[New Bedford High School]] is the sole public high school in the city. New Bedford is also the home to [[Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational-Technical High School]]. The city operates two alternative junior-senior high schools, Whaling City Alternative School, out of the original Greater New Bedford Vocational High School building, and Trinity Day Academy.
