The [[United States Postal Service]] (USPS) operates the [[Burbank Downtown Post Office]]. Previously the USPS also operated the Glenoaks Post Office in Burbank. Due to area businesses getting postal services, traffic at Glenoaks declined and in 2011 the USPS began considering closing the branch. In 2013 the agency announced that it will close that branch.
