Situated at the junction of the [[Serviceton railway line|Ballarat line]], [[Serviceton railway line|Ararat line]] and [[Mildura railway line|Mildura lines]], it currently has several connections for both [[passenger rail]] services and [[Freight rail transport|freight rail]].
