===2000 census=== As of the [[2000 United States census]]<ref name="GR2" /> there were 86,327 people, 31,674 households, and 23,470 families living in the CDP. The [[population density]] was {{convert|846.6|/km2|/mi2|disp=preunit|people|people|abbr=on}}. There were 34,375 housing units at an average density of {{convert|337.1|/km2|/mi2|disp=preunit|units|units|abbr=on}}. The racial makeup of the CDP was 93.36% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.81% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.13% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 2.54% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.02% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.98% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.15% from two or more races. Accessed January 12, 2013.</ref> There were 31,674 households, out of which 32.3% had children under the living with them, 60.1% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 10.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.9% were non-families. 21.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.66 and the average family size was 3.11.<ref name=Census2000/> In the CDP the population was spread out, with 23.8% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 27.4% from 25 to 44, 24.8% from 45 to 64, and 16.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females, there were 92.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.0 males.<ref name=Census2000/> The median income for a household in the CDP was $55,659, and the median income for a family was $62,971. Males had a median income of $47,448 versus $30,763 for females. The [[per capita income]] for the CDP was $24,831. 5.6% of the population and 4.0% of families were below the [[poverty line]]. 6.6% of those under the age of 18 and 6.2% of those 65 and older were living below the poverty line.<ref name=Census2000/>
