The racial makeup of the town was 95.51% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.69% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.16% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 1.10% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], and 2.53% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]] or from two or more races. The age population was evenly spread out, with 18.2% under the age of 18, 64.4% from 18 to 64, and 17.4% who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females, there were 93.1 males.

Most of the town's population is located in seven villages, with nearly half in [[Stafford Springs, Connecticut|Stafford Springs]].
