==Personal life==
Slean was born in [[Pickering, Ontario]]. She attended [[Dunbarton High School]] in Pickering.  After initially studying music at [[York University]], she completed a degree in music and philosophy at the [[University of Toronto]].{{cn|date=December 2024}}
