As of the [[census]] of 2010, there were 21,874 people, 7,587 households, and 5,918 families living in the city. The [[population density]] was {{convert|658.5|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 7,853 housing units at an average density of {{convert|236.4|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 87.3% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 3.0% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.4% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 5.6% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 1.1% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 2.6% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 3.1% of the population.

There were 7,587 households, of which 46.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 22.0% were non-families. 16.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.88 and the average family size was 3.27.

The median age in the city was 34.7 years. 30.7% of residents were under the age of 18; 6.8% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 29.8% were from 25 to 44; 25.2% were from 45 to 64; and 7.7% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 49.4% male and 50.6% female.

The city's racial makeup was 92.78% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 2.03% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.30% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 2.13% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.80% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.96% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanics]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latinos]] of any race were 1.83% of the population.

The median income for a household in the city was $65,916, and the median income for a family was $68,929 (these figures had risen to $83,826 and $90,644 respectively as of a 2007 estimate).
