== Risc PC 2 ==

Acorn set about designing the [[Phoebe (computer)|Risc PC 2]], later renamed to Phoebe 2100{{snd}} a design with a 64&nbsp;MHz front-side bus, [[Peripheral Component Interconnect|PCI]] slots, and a yellow [[NLX (motherboard form factor)|NLX]] [[Computer form factor|form-factor]] case.<ref name=clan-aug-1998>{{cite web|title=Clan Newsletter August 1998|url=http://www.iconbar.com/forums/viewthread.php?newsid=1082#cn5|publisher=Acorn Computers|date=August 1998|access-date=19 August 2009}}</ref> Slated for release in late 1998, the project was abandoned just before completion, when Acorn's Workstation Division was closed.
