Of the Hispanic and Latino population, the largest single group were [[Mexican Americans]] (14.4%) and other Hispanics and Latin Americans made up 45.0% of the demographic. The average household size was 3.08 and the average family size was 3.54.<ref name="Census 2010"/> In the village the population was spread out, with 22.6% under the age of 18, 9.6% from 18 to 24, 34.2% from 25 to 44, 22.7% from 45 to 64, and 10.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34.4 years. For every 100 females, there were 110.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 111.4 males.<ref name="Census 2010"/> At the [[2000 United States census|2000 U.S. census]], the median income for a household in the village was $45,381, and the median income for a family was $51,025. Males had a median income of $32,848 versus $32,461 for females. Of the Christian community, the second largest group operating in the village is the [[United Methodist Church]] (1.8%) and the third largest were [[Baptists]] (1.7%). The second largest religion in Port Chester was [[Judaism]] as of 2021 (5.2%), and [[Islam]] was the third largest single religious group (1.5%).
