Data from the 19th century and early 20th century show the following ethnic changes in four main counties of the corridor ([[Puck, Poland|Puck]] and [[Wejherowo]] on the Baltic Sea coast; [[Kartuzy]] and [[Kościerzyna]] between the [[Province of Pomerania (1815–1945)|Province of Pomerania]] and [[Free City of Danzig]]):
