Harrassowitz, Wiesbaden.</ref> For example, "matches" {{IPA|[kəbrit]}} is sometimes pronounced as {{IPA|[kərbit]}}, {{IPA|[mogzit]}} "nanny" is sometimes pronounced as {{IPA|[mozgit]}}. The word "Monday" is {{IPA|[säɲo]}}, which is the base for "Tuesday" {{IPA|[maksäɲo]}}, which is often metathesized as {{IPA|[maskäɲo]}}. All of these examples show a pair of consonants reversed so that the stop begins the next syllable.
