The village and its surrounding area have been a filming location for scenes from ''[[Julian Po]]'' (1997), the primary locale for ''[[You Can Count on Me]]'' (2000), music video of "[[Sugar, We're Goin Down]]" by [[Fall Out Boy]] (2005), and a secondary location for ''[[Stake Land]]'' (2010).
