==Administration==
As of 2023, Mara Conservancy manages the Mara Triangle on behalf of the county, while the County Government of Narok manages the Narok Sector.<ref name="UNESCO" /> The more visited eastern part of the park, known as the Maasai Mara National Reserve, is managed by the Narok County Council. The outer areas were administered by ranches of the Maasai community.
