In 1961, he played a role on episode seven ("[[The Grave (The Twilight Zone)|The Grave]]") of the third season of ''[[The Twilight Zone (1959 TV series)|The Twilight Zone]]'' starring [[Lee Marvin]]. He played a villainous henchman of Lee Marvin's titular character in the 1962 [[John Ford]] movie ''[[The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance]]'' starring [[John Wayne]] and [[James Stewart]].
