A long-time reader of the genre, she became involved in [[science fiction fandom]] in 2001 by attending the [[59th World Science Fiction Convention|Millennium Philcon]] in [[Philadelphia]]. Her short stories have been published in anthologies and with [[Mike Resnick]], she co-edited ''Stars: Original Stories Based on the Songs of Janis Ian'', an anthology published in 2003.
