==Formula One career== ===Williams (1996β1998)=== In early 1995, the [[Williams Grand Prix Engineering|Williams]] F1 team and engine supplier [[Renault in Formula One|Renault]] became interested in Villeneuve replacing the outgoing [[David Coulthard]].
