Hashish can be consumed by oral ingestion or smoking. When smoked, it may be smoked in a pipe, [[bong]], [[vaporizer (cannabis)|vaporizer]] or [[joint (cannabis)|joints]], where it is often mixed with [[tobacco]], as pure hashish will burn poorly alone. Generally the methods are similar to overall [[cannabis consumption]].

As hashish’s active ingredient is THC, it has the same effects as cannabis.
