==Geography==
According to the [[U.S. Census Bureau]], the county has a total area of {{convert|916|sqmi}}, of which {{convert|900|sqmi}} is land and {{convert|16|sqmi}} (1.7%) is water.<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=http://www2.census.gov/geo/docs/maps-data/data/gazetteer/counties_list_48.txt|publisher=United States Census Bureau|access-date=April 28, 2015|date=August 22, 2012|title=2010 Census Gazetteer Files}}</ref> The northern and eastern parts of the county are drained to the [[Red River of the South|Red River]] in Louisiana by Little Cypress Creek, Cypress Bayou, and [[Caddo Lake]].
