The [[population density]] was {{convert|851.9|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 143 housing units at an average density of {{convert|529.6|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the town was 91.7% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.3% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 3.9% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 3.0% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 5.7% of the population.

There were 111 households, of which 19.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.2% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 7.2% had a female householder with no husband present, 3.6% had a male householder with no wife present, and 45.9% were non-families. 43.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 19.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.07 and the average family size was 2.88.

The median age in the town was 49.5 years. 18.3% of residents were under the age of 18; 4.7% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 20% were from 25 to 44; 32.6% were from 45 to 64; and 24.3% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the town was 53.5% male and 46.5% female.

As of the [[census]]<ref name="GR2" /> of 2000, there were 243 people, 119 households, and 59 families residing in the town. The [[population density]] was 916.7 people per square mile (347.5/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 149 housing units at an average density of 562.1 per square mile (213.1/km<sup>2</sup>). The racial makeup of the town was 94.65% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 1.23% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 2.06% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 2.06% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 4.53% of the population.

The average household size was 2.04 and the average family size was 2.86.

In the town, the population was spread out, with 21.8% under the age of 18, 4.5% from 18 to 24, 24.3% from 25 to 44, 25.9% from 45 to 64, and 23.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 45 years. For every 100 females, there were 91.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.5 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $22,500, and the median income for a family was $32,917. Males had a median income of $28,929 versus $13,125 for females.
