The song was used as the victory anthem of [[Scotland at the Commonwealth Games|Team Scotland]] at the [[Commonwealth Games]] in [[2010 Commonwealth Games|2010]], replacing "Scotland the Brave". This trend continued to the [[Commonwealth Games]] in [[2014 Commonwealth Games|2014]] where it was again Team Scotland's anthem and was sung following a Scottish gold medal.
