*The [[IJssel]], the [[Waal (river)|Waal]] and the [[Nederrijn]] (Lower Rhine) are the three principal distributaries of the [[Rhine]]. These are formed by two separate bifurcations within the [[Rhine–Meuse–Scheldt delta]].
