==Parks and trails==
The [[Youghiogheny River Trail]], a part of the [[Great Allegheny Passage]], runs through Connellsville. The trail provides a significant portion of the town's income and has provided a recent resurgence to the town, the likes of which have not been seen since Connellsville was known as the "Coke Capital of the World". The park was dedicated on October 12, 1940.
