Concordia Parish is a bellwether for the state of Louisiana, consistently reflecting the state's presidential election outcomes since 1964. The parish trends [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democratic]] for local offices. For national offices, the majority has favored [[Republican Party (United States)|Republican]] candidates.
